What does my organization need to run SafetyCompass?
A computer or tablet with a browser and an internet connection is all you need. There's no software to install. Your administrator sets up your account, and you sign in with a password and a 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
Who can use SafetyCompass?
Anyone on your safety team: owners, safety managers, supervisors, record keepers, and field staff who report incidents or run checklists. Each person sees and changes only what their role allows, so everyone stays in their lane.
Do I need to be an ISO 45001 expert to use the system?
No. The 52-week certification roadmap walks you through each milestone, the ISO clause it maps to, and the deliverables to produce. You track your progress week by week, and the checklist items guide the work.
Can I run audits on my own schedule?
Yes. Start a self-audit anytime, work through the checklist, and mark each item compliant, partial, non-compliant, or not applicable. Save your progress and finish later. Completed audits keep their score and findings on record.
What happens to all the records we enter?
Records stay in your organization's private workspace, separate from every other organization. You can download reports as PDF or Word, and export the OSHA 300 Log as CSV. Your organization stays responsible for its own submissions.
Does SafetyCompass certify us for ISO 45001?
No, and it doesn't replace your auditor. SafetyCompass is a tool for running your program and building an evidence trail. Certification is granted by an accredited certification body. We keep the process straightforward, but the certification itself stays with them.
